Volunteer Opportunity: October 25th Commemoration Event
Thank you for volunteering to assist with the October 25th, 2024 commemoration event, marking one year since the tragic shooting in Lewiston, Maine. Your help is crucial in making this event meaningful for the community.
Event Details:
Date: Friday, October 25th, 2024
Location: The Colisée, 190 Birch Street, Lewiston, ME 04240
Time Commitment: Volunteers are expected to be on-site from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Call times and specific job roles will be emailed prior to the event.
Volunteer Roles Available:
- Parking Attendants: Directing vehicles and managing parking lot flow.
- Welcomers: Greeting attendees and providing initial directions or assistance.
- Ushers: Guiding attendees to their seats and answering any questions.
- VIP Hosts: Assisting VIP guests with their seating and special needs.
- Accessibility Managers: Ensuring attendees with disabilities have smooth access to the event and managing any accommodation needs.
- Shuttle Attendants: Assisting attendees with shuttle transportation to and from the venue.
